Brian Mond is Appointed Newest SSBA Board Member

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Brian Mond, a Director at Essex Realty Group, Inc., recently became the Southside Builders Association of Chicago (SSBA)’s newest board member.

The SSBA is a not-for-profit organization of professional builders, rental property owners & managers, and real estate professionals. Its members are dedicated to the rejuvenation and community improvement of Chicago’s southside. Their primary goal is to provide the City of Chicago with technical and professional support on issues related to housing. Long term, the SSBA plans to continue expanding and promoting investment and development opportunities on the southside.

Many current members are active southside investors. Collectively, they are contributing to a number of new construction projects across the area in neighborhoods such as Hyde Park, Woodlawn, Bronzeville, and South Shore, among others. Mond joins the board after four years as a member of the Association.

As a Director at Essex, Mond concentrates primarily on the sale of multifamily investment properties in Woodlawn, South Shore, and Auburn Gresham. As a property owner himself, he is well versed in the acquisition, construction, and management process.
