Essex Director Brian Mond Lists 34-Unit Property in Chicago’s Chatham Neighborhood

Essex Realty Group has been engaged to market the sale of 7908 S. Ingleside Avenue, a 34-unit courtyard building along the retail corridor of 79th street between the Chatham and Greater Grand Crossing neighborhoods on Chicago’s South Side. Director Brian Mond is leading the sale efforts, in his second time facilitating the sale of the property.

The property includes 14 one-bedroom/one-bathroom units, 18 two-bedroom-one-bathroom units and two two-bedroom/two-bathroom units. There’s a value-add component to this multifamily opportunity, according to Essex. Current rents are hovering just below market and units can be lightly updated to achieve higher rental income. Some kitchens and bathrooms can be updated to also achieve higher rental income.
