Essex Lists Pair of Mixed-Use Assets in Chatham
Essex Realty Group has been selected to sell two mixed-use properties in the South Side’s Chatham neighborhood. Located across the street from one another, 720 and 740 E. 79th St. total 67 units, and are listed for sale together for $3,600,000 by Essex director Brian Mond.
The two properties feature distinctive architectural details as well as a mural by local Chicago artist and urban planner Chris Devins, who painted the public art projects as part of his “Chatham 2.0” initiative. The units at both properties feature hardwood floors, radiator heat, white kitchen appliances, and shaker-style kitchen cabinetry.
Both properties are within a few blocks from the 79th Street/Chatham Metra Station with service to downtown Chicago. Mond leads Essex’ South Side brokerage team, which recently closed the sales of three properties throughout Chicago’s South Side.
