Essex Realty Adds Industry Veteran Rick Ofman as Director

Essex Realty Group has hired industry veteran Rick Ofman, who joins the multifamily brokerage as a director. In his previous capacity with a Chicagoland multifamily brokerage, Ofman facilitated the sale of more than $140 million in sales.

“Rick’s acumen, ethics, client focus and team approach are a perfect fit for Essex,” said Essex principal Kate Varde. “We are incredibly fortunate and excited to work with him.”

Ofman graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with a degree in psychology and distinction for his research in neuropsychology. He transitioned into real estate after years of teaching on the North Side of Chicago. Today, he is an active member of the Rogers Park Builder Group and Edgewater Uptown Builders Association.
