Essex Realty Group Brokers Sale of Two Apartment Buildings in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham Neighborhood

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Essex Realty Group, a leading Chicago based multifamily brokerage firm, is pleased to announce the closing of two multifamily properties located in Chicago’s South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

The local seller selected the Berman Anguiano team of Robert Berman, Michael Anguiano, Daniel Shabsin, Jeremy DeMarco, and Joe Kahlhammer to represent them in the transaction. Both properties, located at 1401 W. 80th St. and 7955 S. Paulina Ave., were sold to a private local investor for $1,600,000.

1401 W. 80th St. featured two studios and eleven two-bedroom units while 7955 S. Paulina Ave. featured two 1-bedroom units, ten 2-bedroom units, and three 3-bedroom units. Both buildings were fully occupied at the time of the sale.

The Essex team procured multiple competitive offers for the properties after running a targeted marketing campaign and facilitating over a dozen property tours.
