Essex Realty Group, Inc. Appoints Rick Ofman to Managing Director

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Essex Realty Group, Inc., a Chicago-based commercial real estate brokerage firm, announces the promotion of Rick Ofman to Managing Director.

Rick, who joined Essex in 2021, has played an instrumental role in the firm’s growth working alongside Doug Imber and Kate Varde to successfully close over $374 million in investment sales transactions.

With eight years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, Rick has built an impressive track record, completing the sale of more than 100 buildings, encompassing 2,121 units. His deep understanding of Chicago’s multifamily market and dedication to client success have established him as a trusted advisor to property owners and investors.

In addition to his professional achievements, Rick is actively involved in Chicago’s real estate community. He serves as the membership chair for the Rogers Park Builders Group and is an active member of the Edgewater Uptown Builders Association, demonstrating his commitment to fostering collaboration and growth within the industry.
