Mainstay Restaurant Trades in Lincoln Square
The historic Chicago BrauHaus at 4732 N. Lincoln Ave. in the North Side’s Lincoln Square neighborhood has changed hands for $3,100,000. Tim Rasmussen and Marcus Sullivan of SVN Chicago Commercial represented the buyer, GW Properties, while Essex Realty’s Doug Fisher and Matt Feo advised Harry and Guenter Kempf, the property’s longtime owners.
“This transaction was a great collaboration between all parties with special acknowledgment to Essex Realty Group’s Matt Feo, the lead broker representing the sale, and GW Properties’ Alex Katz and Mitch Golz, who worked tirelessly in getting this deal closed in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Rasmussen.
Sullivan added, “After nearly 50 years of being one of Lincoln Square’s mainstay restaurants, it was great to see Harry and Guenter Kempf ready to settle into a great retirement.”
