Essex Realty Group Brokers $9M Sale of Sauk Village Apartment Complex

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS– Essex Realty Group, LLC a leading Chicago based multifamily brokerage firm, has negotiated the sale of a ten-building multifamily portfolio consisting of 180 total units. The portfolio sold for $9,000,000, or $50,000 per unit.

The buildings are located on the same site in Chicago’s southern suburb of Sauk Village at 2610 Marigold Dr. The portfolio featured a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units as well as common area laundry and onsite parking for tenants.

The Essex team of Michael Anguiano, Robert Berman, Jeremy DeMarco, Daniel Shabsin, and Joe Kahlhammer facilitated the transaction on behalf of the private seller.

“The out of state buyer was attracted to the portfolio because of the scale and the success they’ve achieved with nearby multifamily projects,” said Anguiano.
