Essex Realty Group closed the sale of 4827-4833 N. Wolcott Ave., a 25-unit courtyard building in the North Side’s Ravenswood neighborhood, located near the newly renovated Ravenswood Metra Station, the Damen Brown Line CTA Station and a new Mariano’s supermarket. The property closed for approximately $5,435,500.
Essex principals Jim Darrow and Jordan Gottlieb represented the out-of-state seller. Principal Steve Livaditis represented the buyer, a local investor.
Livaditis said, “The purchaser was quickly attracted to the property primarily due to the value-add opportunity presented and the lack of inventory for quality courtyard buildings in this ideal pocket of Ravenswood.”
